Al Rehman Welfare Project is a UK registered charity established in 2014 by a group of people determined to make a difference to the lives distressed by poverty and torment. This is a non profitable charitable organization inspired to aid in easing the lives of orphan girls situated around the world. These girls generally have no access to basic needs of life which we take for granted and are bound to living on the streets with no future prospects. This Project gives the girls their own identity and personality and allows them to flourish through different paths. Every child has a right to live, be taken care of, be well educated and be skilled to live a successful life.
The reason the charity is focusing on orphaned girls is because, in our culture girls tend to be in the background and some are not fortunate to get an education and work for themselves. The orphanage will host girls between 5 and 18 years of age. Initially, it will acquire a limited number of orphan girls with the potential to grow rapidly in the future, to meet the needs of the area. In most cases, these young girls are married off at a young age and live their lives as house wives and mothers, not even knowing how to read and write. This charity will give them a whole new opportunity in their lives and inspire them to be whoever they choose to be. It will open up new horizons and goals for them as people, along with skills which can never be taken away from them. If you educate a woman, you educate a nation. At Al Rehman, we believe this saying to be true, removing the barriers which have prevented these vulnerable girls building a brighter future. Orphaned children require long term, dedicated support and without our sponsors help we wouldn’t be able to do this.

Our Mission
We aim to provide a hope for orphaned girls and offer opportunities which may never be available to them without this prospect. As a charity we intend to become global and inspire more young people to be involved in the work that we do. Our mission is to provide an establishment model for orphaned children where they are nurtured and educated so they can be participating members of society. At large, we aim to provide the proper care, guidance, skills and education for the maximum number possible of such girls in the areas. We aspire to convert these girls to useful citizens who can play important roles in improving the general conditions and the standard of living in the area.
Our purpose
As a charity we aim to raise a generation of youth prepared to face the challenges of the real world. Al Rehman Welfare Project plans to generate a just and tranquil world liberated from affliction and poverty. We hope to be able to considerably contribute to creating a healthy, peaceful nation. As a charity we hope to make a difference and empower women by giving them a voice through skills and education.
Where we work…
Firstly, the charity will focus on an area called Tehsil Kharian in the district of Gujrat, Pakistan. We are hoping to host about 300 orphan girls in the area to begin with.

We strive hard to ensure that your donations are used in the most effective way possible. With your support these orphan girls can receive the following on a monthly basis:
- 4 healthy meals a day
- Suitable accommodation facilities to cater to their needs (disabled/able)
- Clean, safe and loving environment
- Access to adequate medical and social care
- Appropriate education and life skills
